Tamilnadu State President Arrested and released

Chennai : Today July 23 around 4:30 pm Popular Front president along with 750 persons from various human rights, social organisations and political parties were arrested and released tonight, while they were trying to took out a rally towards secretariat.

Demanding immediate dismissal of Assistant Commissioner (Intelligence) Rathna sabapathy who engineered a plot against muslims on july 22,2006 at coimbatore.Arrested 5 muslim s and portrayed them as a terrorists by planting bombs and recovered by himself from the muslim youths of coimbatore. It was widely publicized as "Kovayai Thakarkka sathi " in the media  that tarnished the image of Muslims .

During the press meet Coimabatore commissioner remained silent and Intelligence officer answered the questions of the  media person raised suspicion among the human rights activists.

The conspiracy was later exposed by the report submitted by an upright officer Mr Balan CBCID Special investigation team after a thorough investigation. As suspected by the humanrights activist the report finally says it was a false and fabricated  case. and  further it identifies that the mastermind behind this bomb recovery conspiracy is AC (IB) Ratnasabapathy himself

Even after this established truth so far action has not been taken against the erred officer and those who helped him raises several question against State Government.
