School Chalo program held in Bhatakal
Bhatkal: Popular Front of India, Bhatkal Unit has organized a program to provide monetary assistance to poor students at Qazia Hassan Hall, Rabita Complex here at Bhatkal as a part of its nation wide ‘School Chalo’ campaign. On this occasion free note books and school stationeries were distributed among 25 poor students.
In his presidential address, Moulana Muazzam Sahab Gangolli, Ex –President Karnataka Imam Council had shed light on PFI’s ‘School Chalo’ campaign. He said, the main objective of this campaign is to create education awareness among children and to assist poor children continue their education without any financial problem. Mr. Abdullah Damudi was also interacted with the audience and highlighted the importance of education in todays world.
The program was started with the recitation of verses from holy Quran by Mohammed Salman followed by welcome speech by Amjad Shirali, President PFI Bhatkal Unit. The program was concluded with the vote of thanks by Dr. Afaaque Lanka.
