Popular front protest against Karaikal Government Hospital irregularities

Karaikal: On 13th Feb early morning around 1 am a person was admitted to the Karaikal Government Hospital for chest pain was not given even a first aid due to lack of doctors which lead to the death of the patient in few minutes. Lack of doctors in  is not the only the reason But many patients suffered and some had even lost their lives due to the carelessness and criminal negligence of GH staffs.

At morning around 8 15 am, both of the Arasalar River bridges which acts as a gateway to the town was blocked by the general public in protest against the hospital authorities.This sudden and massive road block kept hundreds of vehicles stranded.  Popular front cadres pacified the protesters  and streamlined the protest.People dispersed later.
