NCHRO kickstarts signature campaign : Abolish Death Penalty - Save the lives of Perarivalan, Murugan, Sandhan

Chennai: National Confederation of Human rights organizations (NCHRO) had started a Signature campaign on December 14, 2011 before the Madras High Court demanding the central govt. to abolish Death Penalty and save the lives of Perarivalan, Murugan, Sandhan.

NCHRO State Vice-President, Adv. M.G.K. Nizamuddin Ex MLA presided the campaign.

NCHRO State General Secretary Adv. A. Mohamed Yusuff welcomed the gathering and delivered introductory remarks. "This signature movement will be continued before the District courts in different parts of the State and the signatures will be submitted to Governor at the end of the month of January, 2012" he told.

Comrarde. Pala. Nedumaran, World Tamilar Federation inaugurated the campaign.

PRO of NCHRO Adv. A. Syed Abdul Kather co-ordinated the campaign and finally delivered vote of thanks.

Hundreds of advocates participated the movement. A pocket card to mark the movement was also released by Adv. Yusuff and distributed to the participants.
