Udupi Campaign
Udupi: As part of 'National Campaign for Muslim Reservation', Popular Front of India conducted a public meeting near Jamiya Masjid, Udupi.
Speaking to gathering Abdul Rahman, district president of Social Democratic Party of India, Dakshin Kannada said that Indian Constitution has given equal share to People of all categories. But Muslims are not getting adequate representation in administration.

In parliament 110 Muslim MPs should have been represented, but in current scenario their number is only 30. During election all the parties give tickets to non Muslim candidates in Muslim Dominated Areas. And Muslim candidates are given tickets to represent the areas, where Muslims are less in number. This causes defeat to Muslim candidates.

He called upon community members to commence a struggle to achieve the Political Empowerment.

Amir Hamza, district president of PFI, Udupi said that his organization would increase its social work in coming days.

''Popular front of India is endeavoring to empower Muslim community and it gives protection to Muslims who are being oppressed in every field. Empowerment of Muslims is our main agenda’’, he added.
