Healthy People! Healthy Nation: Tamilnadu state inauguration held

Chennai: Popular front healthy campaign inaugurated in the tamilnadu state. The function was held at Don Bosco School ground in Chennai 1st November 2009.The health of the nation is in the health of the people of the country. So with this prespective neosocial movement Popular Front of India is conducting a Campaign from 1st November to 15th throughout the nation with the slogan of "Healthy People! Healthy Nation!"  The program was presided by the state vice president of PFI Mr. A.S. Ismail.

"The humanity the people of our nation have become more technology savy. The Indian Government has sanctioned Rs. 22,000 Crores for medical purpose. But instead by spending a 10% of the amount for healthy purpose we can became a healthy nation without any diseases because prevention is better than cure" said Mr. B. Purushothaman, Correspondent & Principal of Everwin Matriculation Hr. Sec. School. Dr. Abdur Rahman in his speech alarmed every one with the survey report that India will become the global capital of Diabetes in 2010. So he instigated the people of the nation to do atleast exercise for 20 minutes daily to live a healthy life and explained the merits and the demerits of exercise.

The vote of thanks was given by PFI state secretary Mr. Khalith. Silambam, Karate, Yoga, Jogging and various other exercises were also performed. Followed by this innagural function till the 15th of this month exercises will be performe daily in the morning in various places of the nation.
