Mysore: Social Democratic Party of India, Mysore district celebrated republic day here at the party’s district office on 26th January 2012.

The district president Mohammad Faizal hoisted tricolor in the presence of general secretary Jaffar, vice president P.M.Hussain, secretary Mateen Baig, committee members Afzal, Fathima Bi, Akram Sharif, Narasimharaj assembly president Saifullah and Tabrez sait.

Nawaz Ullal, president of SDPI, Ullal constituency has said, in a press release, that some miscreants have burnt three shops on the night of 31st January 2012. The same efforts to create unrest in Ullal had occurred in the past, but police department was silent over the issue. Some hindutva forces had already made some efforts to sabotage the communal harmony in various places of the district including Uppinangady and Sulya.
